Are you stuck in Bend for the eclipse? Come by JessBFit HQ for a tasty eclipse-themed breakfast followed by a walk up the Butte! There’s parking at JessBFit and plenty of space to stash your bike, too. We’ll walk straight from breakfast to the top of Pilot Butte to try and find a good viewing spot, with time to spare. Fun activities will be provided if you can’t sit still for a couple hours. There may be eclipse trivia and cartwheels involved. The walk from JessBFit to the top of Pilot Butte and back is about 4 miles and 500+ feet of elevation gain. But we’ll take our time moseying up there. All are welcome to make the pilgrimage, fight through the crowds and see this unique event together. Register to secure your spot for this free event 🙂
September 2017 TBD?
The Pilot Butte Challenge is a race to the top of the butte! Every September for the last 18 years, the butte is packed with walkers, runners and strollers for this mile-long event. People of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds appear for this fun, community event. This year, things appear to be different, with just information about a Freeform Challenge online. I’ll be updating this page as I learn more about what’s in store for this year. We may have to schedule our own!

Time for a ROAD TRIP! JessBFit is heading out to the Oregon Coast for a weekend of sand, waves and mud. This 5K obstacle race will challenge you to climb, crawl, slither, walk, run, jump and scramble across more obstacles than you’ll know what to do with. If you’ve never done an obstacle race before, this is a great one to get started with. It’s designed to be fun, challenging and accessible to varying abilities. There will be no fire, barbed wire, electricity, or any of that dangerous business. Prepare to laugh, get muddy, get drenched and grow closer to your teammates at this event.
